The Foothill House renovation revitalized a cherished 1963 mid-century ranch on a stunning site near South Table Mesa. The home was renovated and the floorplan was rearranged to add just over 900 square feet to the original home. This created a new master suite above the garage and a light-filled office loft, all while maximizing the property's expansive views. The basement was transformed with oversized windows, turning a dark storage area into a bright office and gym. Inside, the home’s mid-century character was preserved with restored brickwork and strategic roof modifications that enhanced natural light and views. Exterior materials include a blend of original red brick and new standing seam metal siding, while interior updates maintain a clean, minimal aesthetic. The renovation celebrates the home's history while embracing its remarkable surroundings.
