Jefferson Sister N0.1
The Jefferson Sister projects, envisioned and crafted by Davis Urban, have adeptly revitalized two long-neglected, irregularly shaped lots into two contemporary single-family homes while paying homage to the historic character of the neighborhood. Each residence is set on approximately 3,300 square feet and separated by a narrow alley, masterfully balancing expansive, light-filled living areas with a sense of seclusion amidst tight spatial constraints. The homes respect the area's historic scale and texture, featuring a harmonious blend of traditional masonry with exquisitely detailed brick, wood, and metal facades. The thoughtfully designed exterior spaces, including landscaped yards and a roof deck, further amplify the sense of openness. Sister No. 1 boasts a gracefully undulating form with a central staircase that provides access to the basement and upper levels. A concealed staircase ascends from the second level to the roof deck, offering breathtaking views of the Denver skyline.
